The Long Beach Current (formerly Daily Forty-Niner) is the longest-running student news publication at Long Beach State University and is the “paper of record” for the institution. As the most prolific news source on campus, the Current reporters continue to produce award-winning coverage of campus and city news and events. PRINT PUBLICATION
LB Current is published once a month during the academic year. For each issue, 1,500 copies are printed and distributed throughout campus and the city of Long Beach.
